A painting is a captured moment, brought to life on canvas through brushes and paint. No matter how visual arts evolve, genuine painting is always meant to bring joy, creating harmony, warmth, and inner peace within a space.
Today, digital technologies have transformed almost every aspect of life, partially overshadowing classical painting. Digital images have become highly accessible; they can be generated using artificial intelligence (AI) and printed on any home printer or at a local print shop. However, accessibility does not equal uniqueness.
In the past, recreating a master’s artwork required exceptional talent and years of practice. Now, it takes just a few clicks to produce dozens of copies of well-known canvases. Yet, even the highest quality print can never replace a live painting. The difference is felt in everything: the depth of color, the texture of the brushstrokes, the natural luster of pigments, and the sheer volume of the canvas. Most importantly, it is about the energy. Every hand-painted artwork carries the living emotional trace and vision of its author. An original painting radiates an authentic warmth that any digital poster lacks, regardless of the complexity of its creation. The designers at Viktoriya Studio completely agree.😊
Most often, digital images are created for the web, as well as for printing banners, signage, or stickers—not to mention animation, gaming, and hundreds of other industries driven by digital design. It has become an integral part of our lives! However, no digital canvas on a wall can ever replace the energy and value of a live, original painting.
What you can to commission
1. Graphite or colored pencil drawing — portraits of people, animals, birds, still lifes, and more.

If you think pencil drawings are out of style, that is far from the truth. Pencil graphics can perfectly capture realism, creating an image that is both alive and incredibly true to the original. Every hand-drawn artwork is one of a kind. Every stroke, texture, and accidental detail makes it unique, whereas a digital piece can be endlessly duplicated. You can commission a portrait of a child, a loved one, a relative, or your pet—whether it is a cat, a dog, a parrot, or even a hamster.😊
2. Watercolor painting.
Watercolor — far from being just a basic medium, watercolor is a complex and sophisticated tool that demands exceptional artistic skill. Painting with watercolors is technically more challenging than working with acrylics or oils, possessing a unique character that not everyone can master.
The defining characteristic of watercolor is its sensitivity to external elements. Although we always treat finished artworks with a specialized protective spray that significantly extends their lifespan, watercolor pieces require careful preservation. When kept in a dry environment shielded from direct sunlight, this delicate watercolor painting will delight you and future generations for many years to come.
3. Acrylic painting.

Acrylic painting is remarkably close in texture and visual effect to traditional oil painting. However, due to their modern synthetic base, acrylic paints offer a significant advantage: they are less prone to color shifting over time and withstand UV light much better, whereas classic oil requires stricter preservation conditions. Acrylic is eco-friendly, hypoallergenic (water-based), and just as durable as oil paint. Because it dries rapidly, this medium demands exceptional speed and technical skill from the artist to achieve smooth transitions and rich textures. As a result, you receive a long-lasting, high-quality artwork with vibrant, saturated colors and a unique character. Our artist professionally works in the styles of realism, photorealism, expressive realism, and pop art.
4. Holiday postcards in watercolor or acrylic.
Greeting a loved one with an original, hand-painted postcard is incredibly touching and sweet. The recipient will surely appreciate your thoughtfulness and unique approach to the gift. Hand-drawn postcards are far more valuable than store-bought ones, as they convey special warmth, sincerity, and care.
