Creating a site design layout

First, our representative discusses all the details of the project with the customer. We conduct marketing analysis, which includes analysis of the field of activity, competitors, seasonality of the product or service, competitiveness of offers, etc. At the request of the parties, a contract and technical task are signed (the creation of technical task is mandatory even in the absence of a contract). After that, the customer makes an advance payment of 50%. The prepayment is taken because the development of the site takes from 2 to 12 weeks. A web studio cannot afford the luxury of working for free with no guarantees.

Then the designer creates a site layout and sends to the customer for review in a format convenient for viewing on a computer without special software. It is important to note that the designer does not draw the design of each page, but the prototype of the main page in several versions. If the customer has no comments, he must approve the layout. If there are comments and wishes, they are expressed in writing and sent by email. We consider the customer's comments, and if they do not contradict the rules of web development, we make corrections to the layout and approve the design.

After approval of the site layout, the site development process begins in accordance with the data specified in the technical task. First, a website template is created - an adaptive design is made. Thanks to this, your site will look equally good on desktops and mobile devices. Then the site is connected to the CMS, the layout is corrected. If a ready-made purchased template is used for site development, changes are made to it according to the approved task. Note that the customer does not risk anything with this scheme of work. The layout of the site is always very individual and it is difficult to "fit" it to another site.

At the fourth stage of work, the necessary functionality is connected and configured on the site. If there is no suitable ready-made component, module or plug-in, it is created by the programmer. At the stages of creating a simple site, there is usually no need for programming. A programmer is connected to work if a large or complex project is being developed. The programmer's task is to develop complex functions: a calculator, a payment system using bank cards, a currency converter, that is, all those functions that are not included in the standard package. Also at this stage installation of anti-virus and anti-hacker software is carried out.

Testing

The fifth stage of work - the newly created site is filled with ready content, provided by the customer or created by our copywriter. Videos, photos, texts and other information that should be on the site are posted. We fill up for free to 10 pages of information and up to 30 items of goods, if it is an online store.

After all work is completed, the finished project is transferred to the customer along with logins and passwords to the management system. We connect the SSL security certificate, make other technical settings on the hosting.

At the last stage of the work, we conduct testing. The tester checks the work of the website according to a number of criteria and detects errors that must be eliminated.

• We check that all the buttons and links are clickable and lead where they should;
• We test the forms (where the data goes when filling out the forms);
• Testing integration (from CRM to payment systems).

If errors are found, we correct them as soon as possible.
