2. Watercolor painting.
Watercolor is not a child's paint, as some people think. It is a complex tool for an artist. Painting with watercolor is more difficult than with acrylic or oil, it has its own, special specificity, which is not for everyone.
Watercolor has its downside - it fades over time, and although watercolor works are treated with a special spray that prolongs the life of the work, watercolor is still not at the forefront in terms of durability. But if you store the painting in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight, your watercolor work will delight you and your descendants for many years.
3. Acrylic painting.
Acrylic painting is very similar in type and texture to oil painting. Oil paints are sensitive to light and can turn yellow over time if stored incorrectly. Acrylic, on the other hand, due to their synthetic base, are less prone to color change and are better able to withstand ultraviolet light. Experts advise avoiding oil paints if possible, as they can often contain lead, and replacing them, for example, with acrylic (water-based). Acrylic is just as durable as oil paints. It dries faster and is more difficult to create smooth transitions and textures with, but this is the artist's problem, not the customer's. How to order a painting/drawing?
Custom work is performed in A5, A4, A3 formats. Large sizes and non-standard formats are possible, we discuss each job individually.
The work is done based on an existing original, meaning you must provide a photo or digital image that needs to be drawn on paper, cardboard or canvas. Even if it is a landscape or portrait, a photo is required, going to the location with an easel and drawing from words is not practiced))
The work is performed either on special thick paper, primed cardboard (acrylic painting) and canvas. The canvas can be with or without a stretcher. The work is performed in a single copy and is unique, several options to choose from are not practiced)).
The cost of the work depends on the complexity, size and material. The minimum cost of an A5 drawing is 12$. The cost is discussed in each case separately, after analyzing the photos and assessing the scope of work.
